Ding dong the boys are gone!
I know, I'm terrible, we love them and still hang with them, but today was soooo nice with just us girls working! Mike is sick again but he'll be here tomorrow and he's not dangerous. We broke rocks for a foundation at the other site and it was actually calm, and peaceful, I wasn’t worried for my safety or eyesight. Good stuff (and for the record, yes the boys know we gossip about their unsafe ways ;-))
I also found out we got booked to leave a day earlier than we asked to, so that definitely tightens our plans to go to Machu Pichu.
Tuesday:
I was sick this morning and got to work really feeling out of it, but we have to keep pushing! We had a week without Mike and Claire because they were sick and Sean and John have left this week, so now we're all going to work hard to try to finish up our tank on time.
I haven't had net since Sunday, bummer!
In the evening we hung out at Capricio's and Ferrins' with Sean, he and John are in Arequipa for another week. I've really loved getting to know this group of volunteers, we genuinely have a good time together.
